Interaction Section
The interactions of a protein can give valuable clues about its functions and locations. The Interaction section displays data for protein-protein as well as metabolic interaction networks. The protein-protein interaction networks displayed are extendable and interactive and can be integrated with other data to highlight proteins according to custom made filters or pre-selected features such as subcellular location or tissue specificity. The metabolic maps enables exploration of protein function and tissue-specific gene expression in the context of the human metabolic network while the metabolic summary describes the metabolic subsystems/pathways, cellular compartments, and number of reactions associated with each protein.
